Francisco “Frankie” Gutierrez was born and raised in Phoenix to a loving family. While his mom was born in Sonora, Mexico and his dad was born in San Jose, CA, they were raised in Phoenix, as well. Growing up, Francisco attended Catholic School and loved playing sports, particularly football and baseball. Eventually he went on to play at Saint Mary’s Catholic High School in Downtown Phoenix.

After graduating from St. Mary’s in 2015, Francisco took a couple of years off and moved to Mexico to be with his family. During that time, he attended and translated for many international trade committees between various English and Spanish speaking countries. In 2017, when he moved back to Phoenix, he started working at Cigna, helping doctors and pharmacists process insurance claims for medications, meanwhile attending ASU full time. Francisco enjoyed the work at Cigna but felt that he could help people in a more fulfilling and direct manner with refinances and purchases, thus he switched professions to become a Loan Officer in 2020.

Since switching professions, he has found his role with Apex to be a true passion for him. It brings him immense joy to be able to help a client into a better financial situation than they were before and to know he was able to help them and their families. With experience as a translator, he is able to help any English or Spanish speakers achieve any and all of their financial goals.

Today, when he is not helping his clients, Francisco enjoys many hobbies, including working out, dancing to Latin music, video games, and playing pick-up football and baseball games with friends.
